Tony Blankley

Tony Blankley's early career includes a stint as a speechwriter and senior policy analyst for President Ronald Reagan. He served seven years until February 1997 as press secretary to Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. He became a major spokesman for the Contract with America. He appears frequently on CNN, CNBC, NBC and MSNBC. He has written a weekly political column for The Washington Times since 1999 and was named editorial page editor in June 2002. He is also executive vice president of Edelman public relations in Washington, DC.
