Our Politicians should be Hoeing Corn

My Dad would say, when he saw crime at work, as is the government of our day, that if these people were out hoeing corn, they wouldn't have time to think things like this up. In other words, if we labored and worked on a daily basis, our minds would be occupied with thoughts that made us responsible, self sufficient, and strong. If our politicians worked and lived under the laws they imposed on us, their priorities would be very different. So I say give them a hoe and put them to work in the America they have created. Expect them to labor and sacrifice for their country and the people that trust them with their futures.
